Helping families in our community
Established in 2015, Conejo Community Outreach (CCO) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization whose board is comprised of five local women in Conejo Valley, California. We connect local generosity with local need for support to provide resources for those living in our community. We believe that communities gain strength when all residents are appropriately clothed and fed.
For our sixth annual Conejo Community Thanksgiving, in order to operate safely ... this year's event will look a little different.
We are partnering with a local restaurant, Country Harvest, who will be preparing pre-cooked, family-style meals for families we are supporting through the event this year. We made this decision for a few reasons:
CCO runs a year-round community diaper bank, providing monthly supplemental assistance to families in our community. (Our nonprofit serves Conejo Valley and surrounding areas).
Please visit our Diaper Bank page to learn more about:
To date, we've distributed more than 150,000 diapers to families in our community (100,000 of these diapers since March 2020).
Just a few organizations we're proud to work with together and partner with:
Safe Passage Youth Foundation
Ventura County Public Health
Manna Food Bank
Adelante Comunidad Conejo
Thank you to these nonprofits and organizations that are working rapidly to address food insecurity, safety, foster child support and more. We are privileged to have strong partnerships that help us all provide a more well-rounded amount of support.
