CCO is pleased to announce that we have a few events coming up this fall that we would love for you to be a part of! We are still in the process of finishing touches and details before we release flyers, but we just couldn't wait a second longer to share!
First up, we are pleased to announce that our Community Closet will be ready for access in September!! The board members are hard at work, with a final push this month, to squeeze in a few more organizing and sorting days in order to have everything in easily accessible and labeled bins. The amount of donations we received from the community overwhelmed us (in a great way!)

On Saturday, October 1st, we have an event we're super excited about! (Maybe it's because we all secretly want to participate!) We're hosting a
PARENTS' NIGHT OUT Fundraiser extravaganza and we've got everything covered.
Being an organization comprised of seven moms, we know how important time away from the house and kiddos (as awesome as they are) can be! We also know that the cost of babysitting can be a large factor when it comes to even planning a night out. We've got you covered!

Being an organization comprised of seven moms, we know how important time away from the house and kiddos (as awesome as they are) can be! We also know that the cost of babysitting can be a large factor when it comes to even planning a night out. We've got you covered!
Tang Soo Do University in Newbury Park is offering an AMAZING babysitting deal whether you participate in our fundraiser events for the evening or not! From 5:30pm-10pm, drop off your kid(s) for pizza, a movie, and crafts! Ages 4+, $15 for your first child, $10 for your second child, $5 for your 3rd child.
*These babysitting prices are only eligible with purchase of one Paint Nite fundraiser ticket, or receipt of purchase from Cronies Sports Bar and Grill, on the same evening. If you'd just like to enjoy the babysitting from Tang Soo Do University, but prefer to make your own plans for the evening, you can! Prices for babysitting: $30 for first child, $15 for second child, and $10 for third child.

It's $40 for a paint nite ticket, and we've got some "extra" exciting goodies in store for you, like FREE wine! Plus we're working on some amazing raffle prizes and goody bags to go home with.
One of our raffle prizes is a FREE Family Holiday Photo Mini Session with professional photographer Kathy Anne Schmidt, during our Family Holiday Photo Day (November 5, 2016)! Speaking of raffles and goody bags, are you a local vendor who would like to donate something for the evening? Please contact us to discuss!
Come with your husband, your boyfriend, your girl friends, your mom friends, or solo and mingle with other parents in the community.
2) CRONIES SPORTS BAR AND GRILL --- Cronies is a hosting a fundraiser for CCO on October 1st, as well! Go indulge in some wings and burgers and 20% of proceeds will be donated directly to Conejo Community Outreach.
Do one, do both! Or do neither but enjoy babysitting at a great cost. You get to mix n' match, this is your night out! Send dad to Paint Nite while mom enjoys wings and beer at Cronies. Or have a couple's night with dinner at Cronies, followed by painting. Whatever you fancy, we've got it covered, and it's all for a great cause. On Saturday, November 5th, Kathy Anne Schmidt, an extremely talented and professional photographer well known in the Conejo Valley for her candid portraits and Wedding photography, has offered to host a HOLIDAY FAMILY PHOTO Fundraiser for CCO.
From 9AM-4PM at a beautiful ranch in Moorpark, Kathy will be providing 15-minute MINI-SESSIONS for an amazing price of $95! Families (no more than six members, no pets please) will receive 15 images & a CD within a week of the photo shoot! After researching prices of various mini-sessions, we found that the average cost for a Holiday Mini Session ranges from $150-250. It was important for us to provide an affordable option for local families and we are so pleased and grateful that Kathy has offered to make this possible! Please stay tuned for appointment booking!

And that brings us to our ANNUAL CONEJO COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING! Last year, our flagship event helped provide a total of 17 Thanksgiving Day Meal packages, thanks to the generosity of our community who came together by providing monetary donations, Turkey and canned good donations, acting as host locations for drop-offs, and contributing time as volunteers to help organize and deliver the Thanksgiving packages.
We are gearing up to make this year's Community Thanksgiving even more successful than last year's. We will be announcing dates shortly for this year's donation period and will be seeking hosts in Newbury Park, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Westlake, and Agoura, as well as signing up volunteers for our Packaging and Delivering Day.
Did you know that a $50 donation will provide the means necessary for us to purchase a full Thanksgiving Day Meal Package for a family? Please keep us in mind this November if you are considering donating to a local charity.
